Curriculum

At RCA, we use a combination of Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) and Christian Light Education (CLE) curricula. Biblically based programs designed to help students grow academically while developing strong moral character and a personal relationship with Christ.

The ACE curriculum combines academic excellence with Christian values, providing individualized learning that allows each student to progress at their own pace. Through self-instructional workbooks called PACEs (Packets of Accelerated Christian Education), students learn responsibility, goal-setting, and self-motivation—skills that prepare them for lifelong success. Each subject consists of 12 PACES per year to meet the academic requirements.

CLE is based on a series of books called Light Units and consists of 10 units to be completed to meet academic grade requirements for the school year.

Each subject—such as Math, English, Science, Social Studies, and Word Building—is taught from a Christian worldview, integrating Scripture and faith-based principles throughout the lessons. Character development is emphasized daily through Scripture memory, Godly character traits, and opportunities for service.

These programs includes regular progress checks and mastery-based learning, ensuring that students fully understand each concept before moving forward. This approach builds confidence, independence, and a deep sense of accomplishment. A test will be given upon completion of each book and will be recorded on progress reports.

At RCA, we believe that education should shape both the mind and the heart. The ACE School of Tomorrow and  Christian Light Education Curriculum helps us fulfill our mission to “train up a child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6), equipping students to serve God and others with excellence.

RCA Grades are as follows:

100-94 A

93-88 B

87-80 C

RCA does not accept grades lower than 80%.  If a student scores below 80%, at the teacher's discretion, the student may be allowed to study and correct mistakes on the test.  The average of both test grades will count as the final grade.  This will be allowed only once.
